It Was Only a Matter of Time...

We have been holding our breath and waiting for weeks now for our little stinker to start crawling. We had so many false hopes. The kid would give up and roll to where he wanted to go or do the strangest thing... scoot on his back and neck (no wonder he still has a bald spot on the back of his head). Tonight I was playing with him when low and behold he started crawling around. He is still a little shaky, and hasn't given up on his rolling and back scooting, but it's progress!

The top picture is of Bennett with the new style he has been sporting for the past week... a runny nose and pink, puffy eye. We had a scare last Wednesday when his fever spiked 103.7. Being the "Helicopter Mom" that I am, I panicked and almost took him to the emergency room. He wasn't eating, playing, or even sleeping. He just screamed and cried. Luckily we got him to the doctor and learned that he has a severe ear infection and a clogged tear duct, plus teething. Poor dude. When it rains it pours! At least he is starting to act a little more normal now. Well... normal for Bennett that is!

those first milestones are major events. I wish I would have had a more video footage of the kids when they were younger.

That must be so exciting. I can't believe how sick he was though, poor guy. Not fun for anyone involved I'm sure.
