A Little Late

I don't know what is wrong with me, I normally am on top of things and not one to procrastinate, but ever since Christmas vacation ended I feel like I just am on the go. I know it's late, but I wanted to post a picture of Bennett and his Christmas. He must have been a good boy because Santa spoiled him. One of the reasons why I get excited for school breaks is that I get to spend some time with Sommer and my little nephews. Since Bennett has expressed an interest in animals we thought it would be fun to take them to the National Aquarium in Baltimore. It was a blast! It was definitely more fun watching the boys get excited over the animals than seeing the creatures myself. I can't wait for it to warm up outside and take the boys to the zoo!

This video is more for my kids at school. Two of my girls gave Bennett a Christmas present. It is sort of a running joke on how much he loves cows. Besides "dog", it is one of the first animal words that he said. He even searches for farms with cows when we drive to places. He gets so excited that he will yell. "COW!" while shaking. You can imagine how excited he was when he opened up his present of his first stuffed animal cow. He also wouldn't let the Boyd's Bear out of his sight. I don't know if I luckier for having such sweet and thoughtful students, or for having such a nut for a son.
