So Lonely

This past week has been a lonely one. Tim went down to Virginia Beach/ Norfolk to visit his sister, Laura and nieces. Of course Bennett went along. I thought at first that I would enjoy the peace and quiet. Instead I found the missing chatter eerie. It was pretty depressing. Needless to say, I was excited to see the boys come back home. I think Bennett enjoyed spending time with his older cousins. He is not used to being around girls, especially since he normally hangs around Brandon and Nathan (I don't think they would chase him around trying to brush his hair) and boys outnumber the girls in nursery.

Perhaps Bennett's favorite part of the trip was when they went to the Navy base to see the planes. He is still talking about it. I'm sad that I missed two of his new words learned during the trip. One being "Airmane" and the other "Boo boo" (Yes... he did fall and bust open his lip while running around with a toy). Now he looks everywhere for airplanes and points to all his boo boos looking for kisses. At least mommy is there to enjoy it now!

I totally understand. It was a bit disorienting when Travis and I went away for the weekend to have so much free time and no interruptions and no noise.

Looks like fun! I know what you mean about missing the noise. I enjoy the first day or two and then I really start to miss them. Send Tim this way and Bennett can learn what really big boys do. Better yet, why don't all of you come for a visit
