It Comes in Three

You know the saying, "When it rains it pours." ? Well, I've decided that this saying is true. I think Heavenly Father gives us trials so that we can appreciate the good of what we have. Yes... I know, I have to learn from them. Believe me, I have! So now that today we've met the THIRD yucky trial we should be done for a while. Right?

#1- Tim's car broke down. It happens to people all the time. No big deal. It just cost an arm and leg to fix and of course was scary seeing smoke coming out of the engine while driving!

#2- We rushed to the animal emergency hospital Sunday morning for Brooklyn. We woke up and she was shaking in the corner and not moving her back legs. Three hours later and many costly blood tests they still don't know what is wrong with her but at least now she is moving. We then come home to find that Gurgi had massive diarrhea all over the upstairs carpet. Tim bisteled the carpet while both dogs remained sick. We have come to the conclusion that it might be the dog food but we still have no clue.

#3- Tim had a crappy day. Literally. Our drainage system backed up and... well, you get the picture.

Now I don't want this to be a complain session or make people feel sorry for me. Seriously. Everything could have ended much worse and there are even more horrific or sadder things that could have happened to us. If I have learned anything from this situation it is that I am thankful for my car, I know that I need to love up on my dogs a little more and appreciate them, and last but not least... the toilet and shower have been perhaps the greatest invention on Earth because I certainly can't live without them!

Man you have a much better attitude then I would have, I really admire that Ashley! Here's to the end of a hard week and hopefully the beginning of a much better one =) By the way Ash, can you put up a ticker of your pregnancy on your blog so I can keep track of how far along you are? Pretty please. Oh and we will for sure come up to do the pictures for mom tomorrow and then Ben wants to see if Tim will go see Iron Man 2 with him, I think that would really make his day, can you ask Tim if he wants to go with Ben.... I certainly would appreciate it too because then I won't have to go with Ben =)
