Ever since Bennett has learned to climb the rock wall on the pirate ship at Grandma and Grandpa's house, he has gotten into a lot of trouble at home.
Earlier last week when Bennett was supposed to be taking his nap (we are "training" him to sleep in a big boy bed) we walked in to find baby powder EVERYWHERE! When I say everywhere, I am not exaggerating. It was even in the crevices of his diaper wipes.
Tim and I were trying to figure out how in the world he got the baby powder. We have it sitting up pretty high on the changing table. We thought that maybe one of us didn't put it back far enough and he got into it.
Imagine our surprise two days later when I walked in to find that Bennett CLIMBED his changing table and once again decorated his bedroom with "snow". Mystery now solved. Needless to say, our house has once again been "ghettofied" as Tim took off all the knobs so that Bug can't climb his table.
Why couldn't Mom and Dad get a pirate ship without a rock wall?!

WAY TO GO, Bennett. What a little man you are. Ashley, you are in so much trouble now that you have a very talented climber. Enjoy.
Hahaha! I laughed when I watched that video! So adorable.
Can I hire you to come decorate my house? Yours is so dang cute!
We've just watched the video like five times and Brandon wants to know if he can come to Bennett's house. Nathan was laughing so hard. Way to go Bennett!!!!
Ethan was my climber. At 2 years old he managed to climb the bookshelf and drop our glass temple, climb another shelf and "dig" in the plant I had just watered and while I was cleaning up those messes he flooded the bathroom because I put him in the tub to get him out of trouble...this all happened in a matter of minutes. Not fun. Since then he has climbed to the top of the garage (no ladder involved), climbs the highest in the trees, gives me a heart attack at Devil's Den and oh yeah, broken 3 arms (he only has 2 but broke one twice) in 11 months. Aren't you glad you have something to look forward too:)
I have to admit I admire the fierce independence that comes with this fearlessness in Ethan and by the look of the video, Bennett has that too. He sure is a cutie!
hahaha that's hilarious. But not for you. Sorry! He's such a cutie, and I love how he is so proud of himself for getting to the top, and calling himself naughty. :) Why are kids so proud of naughty accomplishments?? Cami gives me a run for the money all the time...she's a good girl but has got a lot of feistiness I know will be a challenge in the years to come!
that video cracks me up - he's SUCH a little boy
