So in February of this past year Tim and I babysat for a family of 5 boys. This family owns a BEAUTIFUL beach house in Bethany Beach, Delaware. They offered us their beach house for a week in exchange for watching their kids. Needless to say, I think we got the better end of the deal (their boys are perfect)!
Sommer and her boys came along with us. My favorite part of the whole trip was watching them at the beach. They were so cute! Nathan kept holding our hands to get closer to the water. Whenever one of us would walk away he would start to cry. I would definitely say her boys are beach bums!
When Brandon wasn't chasing the seagulls or running away from the waves, he was playing in this little pool of water. I think this was the same pool that he found a little seashell in. He kept calling the seashell, "sea sea". On a little sidenote: Brandon kept hearing me call his mom, Sommer. We were eating dinner and he looked at Sommer and said, "Sommer!" Sommer looked back at him and said, "You call me Mommy." I swear that Brandon's little devil horns popped out of his head (as they often do) and he said, "Sommer! Sommer! Sommer!". Just thinking about it makes me laugh. I love that kid!
On our first day at the beach, Bennett was looking everywhere! He didn't fuss at all when Tim put his feet in the sand and water. Bennett is very nosy and seemed to love the new
environment. We also saw 4 dolphins swimming in the water about a quarter of a mile from the shore. It was very exciting.
We couldn't leave the beach without a little family picture. This one was taken by the
beach house where we were staying. I hope that next year we will be able to go again. Maybe then it will be Bennett chasing seagulls and playing in the water! We can't thank the Wards enough for letting us enjoy Bennett's very first vacation.

Cute family picture. I am so sad I wasn't able to go. You'll have to ask Sommer about the big mix up. Anyway, I am glad you all had a great time.

Sounds like a great vacation! How funny about Brandon calling Sommer by her name. Thats a great family picture, you look beautiful.
Oh and we used to know some Wards w/ 5 boys in our ward but they moved to PA, is that where you live? I wonder if they're the same ones?!?!? ;0)
