Big Project at Sommer's House

I went to Maryland on Friday to see my cute little nephews and spend time with Sommer. We spent the day working on reupholstering her curtains. We started off the day going to Joanne Fabrics to pick out the material. While we were there, Bennett managed to do something new. I am still baffled at how he was able to somehow pee up out of his diaper and all over me. It was so embarrassing. Sommer and I were standing at the counter getting fabric cut and I'm there with pee all over my shirt. Sommer was nice enough to launder his adorable little Halloween outfit that he wore for the first time that day. I don't understand how he manages to either pee or poop through every new outfit the first time he wears it. How frustrating!
Bennett was so tired by the end of the day. I love how he has his little hands folded while he is sleeping.

Nathan kept going up to Bennett to kiss and pat him. They were both so cute. Neither of them have a choice... they're going to be best friends when they get older!
I LOVE this picture of the boys loving up on Bennett. I'll say it again, I really hope that they'll always be best buddies.

We moved out on the deck to work on Sommer's curtains because we were afraid all of the hammering would wake the boys up. Nathan eventually did wake up. He was happy to help us out. (Don't worry, his hammer is a toy!)

It looks like you two had so much fun. I checked Sommer's blog to see the final product and it looks great!
And what is it with boys peeing all over everything! CJ's better, but at one point I was floored by how much he got everywhere.

I had so much fun Ash, thank you so much for your help! Bennett was such a good boy that whole day, and we have many funny stories to tell (the walk home from the festival.....). I agree, our boys don't have a choice, they will be the bestest of friends! See you in a few hours at the reunion!

Ashley, I just love that picture of the three boys. They are all so cute when they are together. I am sure they will be best buds. They already act like it.

Also, great job on the curtains. They look great! You are such a good sister to help out. Sommer is lucky to have you.

y'all are so funny!!!
Yes, little boys have a way of making it all leak out everywhere. I have yet to have a problem like that with Maizeigh - it must just be boys.

At first when you said reupholstering curtains I was like, what the heck does that mean, then I see you out there with a huge slab of wood. Wow, way to be home improvers...Trading Spaces fans?
