1.) I am a very picky eater! I don't like any meat except for eggs, hamburger and bacon.
2.) I am a chapstickaholic. I have to apply chapstick at least 25 times a day to my lips. I even wear my chapstick tied to my lanyard around my neck at school. When I was in 2nd grade I stole the chapstick out of my classmates desks. I got is so much trouble that I was not allowed to take piano lessons. My sister ended up taking them before me.
3.) French fries make me very happy! I would love to survive eating only french fries. Nothing tastes better than a fry from Wendy's dipped into a vanilla frosty.
4.) I gained 50 pounds when I was pregnant with Bennett, but I have currently lost 62 pounds since I have had him!
5.) I hate playing card and board games. I don't know why... I just don't like them.
6.) It really bothers me when someone has really dirty ears. Once I see them, I can't think of anything else but handing that person a q-tip and asking them to take care of it!
7.) I don't know how to swim. I'm ashamed to admit this! My mom even took me to swimming lessons when I was little, but I failed. :0(
8.) I don't like it when anyone (my students especially) touch my things on my desk. I like them a certain way and it bothers me when people play with them. When I was student teaching, my cooperating teacher used to pile papers on my desk or move things around on my desk just to see me rearrange everything and get all hyper about it.
9.) When I was in elementary school, my sister, neighbor, and I would make up these dance routines and sing and dance at the bus stop while waiting for the bus (LOSERS!)
10.) I have never been to a haunted house where I haven't peed my pants in fright.
11.) My sister and I used to have pencil poking contests where we would see who could poke the other in the head the hardest. We would find this more interesting to do instead of all the summer school work our parents would make us do.
12.) I am a homebody. I have never liked being away from my home for a long amount of time. It was very difficult for me to spend 4 years at college over 2,500 miles away from my family.
13.) I cry in almost every movie out there. I even cried in "A Little Mermaid".
14.) My great grandfather was Amish and my great grandmother was a self-proclaimed witch.
15.) I almost died when I was 7 months old. I had bacterial meningitis and the doctors told my mom that if I survived I would never be able to see or hear again.
16.) I dream about tornadoes at least once a month. I am very fascinated by them, but am terrified at the thought of being caught up in one.
17.) I have a mole on the end of my nose that I HATE! I was born with it and have always felt ugly because of it. Tim won't let me get it removed because he says I wouldn't look like myself without it.
18.) I love Yankee candles, Bath and Body Works Lotions and Sprays, and Willow Tree figurines. I have quite a collection of all of these things.
19.) Speaking of collections.... when I was little I had a napkin collection. I collected napkins from restaurants, birthday parties, hotels, you name it!
20.) I have enough different shampoo in my shower to last me several years. Tim gets irritated with the 4 different kinds of shampoos that I have. I like to "take turns" using different shampoo. I never use the same kind twice in two days.
21.) Centipedes/Millipedes freak me out! I'll never forget the first night Tim and I spent in our new house. We were just settling down for the night when a millipede dropped from the ceiling and landed on Tim's head. Tim flipped out and flicked the millipede and it landed on my cheek. I wanted to get out of our contract for our home right that minute! It took Tim all night to convince me otherwise.
22.) I love Jane Austin. I love her books and I love watching movies made after her books. I secretly wish that I could be Elizabeth Bennett.
23.) I love Jane Austin so much that I named Bennett after the character Elizabeth Bennett. Tim does not like this fact and will say that Bennett's name came from a football player because that is manly and Jane Austin isn't.
24.)Peanut butter and pickle sandwiches make me happy.
25.) Clutter really bothers me. I don't like the clutter of bookshelves, so I made little curtains to cover them and hide all the junk. I know that is a little weird, but it is better than looking at all the busy stuff behind the curtains. I also have curtains up on my shelves in my classroom.
I tag Emilie and Christina! :0)

Very nice to learn more about you. Do you mind if I add you to my friend list? By the way, this is Brenda (as in Emile and Brie's mom). Isn't blogging fun!
Ashley, you make me laugh! I love you! You are just too darn cute!
I did tell you about the "Fitzwilliam Darcey: A Gentleman" triology right? You have to read it if you are a JA fan. Best knock off I've read (except for the second book-don't expect it to be as good as the first or third).
Clutter-how did you ever marry Tim?
It was fun to learn more about you:)
LOL. you just made my day. I have to say i pretty much knew most of that about you, except the dirty ears one. That's the biggest pet peeve of mine!! OMG, no wonder we're BFF! hehe I can't stand dirty ears. i think the same thing. kinda like when someone has rank breath and you just want to offer them a piece of gum?? it's the same thing with offering a q-tip for dirty ears. LOL I love it! Love you Ash!! Thanks for making me laugh this morning.
How fun to learn more about you. People love to test me when I put things in a certain order, but family especially picks on my about my OCD.
That was so fun to read! I forgot that you weren't aloud to do piano because of stealing the chapsitck, lol! YOu really are so funny Ash!
opps, I was still logged in as you when I just made that comment, sorry!
haha you made me laugh out loud with the millipede on the cheek story. I would TOTALLY freak out if that happened to me, as I'm sure you did. Those things are so gross, and only seem to be out there in PA! I also dream about tornadoes more than any other natural disaster...they are the most frightening to me, so I'll never live in the midwest! And I was in the Jane Austen club at West York with Sommer and it was headed up by Mr. Bryant. Were you in it?? Good times. It was fun to hear more about you and all your little quirks. :)
Come to think of it I seem to remember my chapstick going missing after every time you came over as kids. JK. You're funny...and just for everyone else out there she doesn't only pee at haunted houses, don't sit next to her on a roller coaster either! I think we both did it in the same seat on the Wildcat...ew!
Ashley, you are so funny. I agree with number 18 but I am a little worried that you love pickle and peanut butter sandwiches. Are you pregnant again? :).
I love this post! I never knew any of these things about you. You are quite interesting! Peanut butter and pickle sandwiches... really? haha!
