Between taking graduate classes for my master's degree, teaching 27 fourth graders (whom I love very much), and trying to fulfill the motherly duties towards my almost 7-month-old, life can be very overwhelming! Oh how I love the weekends! I feel like the weekdays are filled with me running around like a chicken with her head cut off. I have never felt this way for so long before. I apologize for not being such a good blogger, but this is seriously the first time I have been on in two weeks!So here are 5 reasons why I savor the weekends:
1.) I actually get to spend more than ten minutes talking to my husband (we seriously only see each other awake for about ten minutes a day during the weekdays if we are lucky, due to our work schedules)!
2.) I don't have to get up at 5:00 in the morning.
3.) I can stay in my jammies as long as I want to and not be judged for it.
4.)I don't feel like a single parent. Tim and I are actually parenting Bennett TOGETHER! Poor little boy, he doesn't know what to think when the two of us are together around him. He gets so hyper and just looks at us with a manic expression on his face.
5.) Chores and much needed errands are completed (most of the time).
Thanks for being patient with us and not forgetting about our family. Even though we might not comment on every blog or visit as often as we like, please know that we think about you often and love you!

Weekends are the best! I totally understand why you love it so much. Even though I don't work, this is also one of the only times I get to see my hubby, too. (He has to work two jobs....YUCK!) I love this picture of Bennett....he's so CUTE!
Oh Ashley! I just LOVE you! You are such a wonderful mother and Bennett is lucky to have a mom and dad that love him so much.
Hang in there Superwomen! I sure am going to miss you.

By the attitude that Bennett has every time y'all are together, just proves how important it is to have a mom and a dad parenting together. The hard times will get easier!
Seriously wow. I can't believe you are so busy. No wonder we only live like 25 minutes apart and never see each other.
