I Could CRY!

Ok...so I did. When I came home from school/work today this is what I saw. (It really looks worse in person.) Poor little boy is covered head (all over his scalp) to toe in hives. Tim took him to the doctor today because he has the hives along with a fever. We are not sure if it is a reaction to an allergy (antibiotics for ear infection? Canolope?) or maybe a virus. I'm flipping out because we also need to watch him for sore joints. How does a sixteen month old tell you his muscles are sore? Poor little boy. His mommy is acting more like a baby than he is.

Plus side to all of this- a new Halloween costume: The Pink Dalmatian

Ok that is just heart breaking! I want to cry too! That is the most pitiful, sad thing I've ever seen! Poor little bug. I'm so sorry for you to Ash, I'd be flippin too. Hopefully we'll get to see him tomorrow. Hang in there.

Holy cow! Poor Bennett! Update once you figure out what's going on with the little guy. And you, hang in there! You are a good mommy!

I agree crying is an appropraite reaction. It's terrible and even I am wondering if he is miserable.

You'll know if he's miserable or has sore joints, trust me...they let you know some way. He looks the same way Jakob looked with an allergic reaction to penecilin. What did the dr say?

Poor baby. It is so hard to know how things are affecting them. So frustrating. I hope he's doing better.

I'm so sorry. I've had hives and they are really uncomfortable. I'm sure the Dr has told you about oatmeal baths, hydrocortisone cream (ok for babies?) or even aloe. Hope he's feeling better soon!
