Smaller Than a Dot

This is what the young women in my ward did to my house this weekend! It was really cute that they "heart attacked" me. I really miss them ever since I've been released from young women's. It was nice to know that they were thinking about me, because I sure think a lot about them! Who ever thought that forks in the lawn with paper cutout hearts would bring tears to my eyes? Maybe it's the left over pregnancy hormones. Whatever it is... my girls are sweet!

Yesterday marked the one year anniversary that we found out we were pregnant with Bennett. This is such an important day for us because after 3 years of trying, we were sure that we would never have a child of our own. Bennett's story is even more interesting (at least to us) because we had finally given up on really trying and decided that we were going to go to the chuch and put our papers in for adopting a child. This all changed on that Saturday morning of the 27th when I took a pregnancy test and saw that it was postive. I think that every mom remembers the special day she found out she was pregnant. Let me tell you! I have kept the pregnancy test companies in business over the past 3 years! I'll never forget the moment when we found out we were finally going to have a child of our own. Just think.... a year ago he was smaller than a dot. Now he is my 18 pound, 4 month old chunk!

What a beautiful blessing for you. All I can remember since I have met you is your desire to have a child and I am so happy that Heavenly Father decided to bless you with one. A beautiful one at that.

Love the new header. It is so cute. Email me the picture and I will fix the red eye. Love you!

I never knew you guys waited so long to have a baby, I imagine that must have been hard, but he sure is a cutie. I love the first picture. And don't worry I have one child who is non cooperative a large amount of the time. They outgrow it...to some degree anyway.
