Wedded Bliss

After surviving my first week back at school (which went very smoothly, even after several mommy melt downs!) Tim and I spent our first weekend away from Bennett. Tim was asked to be a groomsmen for his best friend, Adam. They have been friends ever since they were around 4 years old. Adam had his wedding in Maryland. We stayed at a historical mansion that was built in the 1700s. It was beautiful. The wedding took place outdoors by the mansion. The weather was sunny, and the trees were just starting to change colors. Everthing was PERFECT!
Adam and Ingrid sharing a kiss as a married couple! YAY! Her gown was gorgeous!

The Belmont Mansion is in the woods by a state park. Tim and I were able to do a little hiking in the woods before the wedding.

I don't know why this picture is so blurry! We didn't get any pictures of where we ate for breakfast but we ate at the Carriage House. I think it's neat because it was a building used to store the carriages back in the colonial times. HOW COOL IS THAT?

The bear that Bennett is holding is actually Tim's bear from when he was little. Tim named his bear Adam (after his best friend Adam, the one that just got married) when he was five. Tim gave his bear to Bennett. It was really cute when Tim gave a toast to Adam and Ingrid and talked about how Adam was his best friend that he even named his teddy bear after him.
