The kitchen BEFORE (oh so ugly)!
After 3 VERY long months of having our kitchen torn apart (and doing our part to "stimulate" the economy), Tim finished our kitchen! It should have been finished the
beginning of April but we had some setbacks. The granite
countertop people put down the wrong color (a mossy green) AND our order for the cabinets was never faxed through. Talk about a double
whammy! I won't complain now, because I LOVE my kitchen! Tim even tiled the
backsplash. This is a room that had original
countertops and cabinets (30 years old). No matter how hard I scrubbed the counters they always looked stained and dirty. I used to hate going in the kitchen because of how
nastified it was. Now I can cook, be happy, and get fat! Aren't handy man husbands great?!

Who knew Tim was so handy? Growing up he was handy at getting out of work and now your place is being transformed. It looks great! Nice kitchens are a must for good sanity. Enjoy! When are you guys going to come down and visit us in Atlanta
